This is Harry's critique from the judge, Mr. Steven Leppard, who awarded our boy his 5th Imperial Certificate:
AV Semi LH Imperial Male IGCC Allen's GrCh Tistanti Pedro De-Arbues 13c2 1/8/07 blue Birman lad of excellent type, Birman just oozed out of him. Super broad round head, correct medium ears, set well apart. Wonderful full cheeks, medium length to nose, shows slight dip to profile, decent chin, level bite, beautiful expressive almost round eyes of a beautiful blue, which this handsome boy used to his advantage, such a serene look, typical of blues. Fabulous boning, weight and substance to this handsome lad, who is massive, just what the Birman should be and is so important for the breed and essential in studs. Firm medium legs with thickset large paws. Excellent size to this wonderful lad, took me back to earlier days. Excellent full front gloves, with good back socks and superb full even length wide gauntlets to just below the hock beautiful even slate/grey to this lad's ears, mask, legs and on a nice full, medium length tail, super full coat that was somewhat shadier from when I last saw him West of Scotland 09, where I awarded him the Res Imperial but retains a nice contrast to the points His type is superb, the size, boning and substance to this lovely gentle lad is stunning and so good to see there are still some real Birmans around. Superb temperament and presentation to this lovely lad, a credit to his owners and the Breed. I was delighted to award him the Imperial today, which understand from his proud breeders/owners this has made him up to Imperial Grand, what a pleasure and an honour indeed for me, how lovely my first Imperial award to a Birman and to make him up, I was thrilled and so pleased to see it was my lovely blue lad from Wales, congratulations, he is simply wonderful, well done.
